Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet are the colors of the rainbow. Our kids learned the importance of eating the rainbow while learning how to properly throw and catch. It turns out that eating certain colored foods are good for certain benefits in the body. A great example is that blue and purple foods are good for brain function and to fight cancer. We played a great game where the kids were active and learning at the same time all of these great benefits. Keep your eyes peeled for the handout that came home!
